Beachscapes
"Take time to come home to yourself everyday."-Robin
Casarjean
Beaches connect to my heart center. For me, I find an inner tranquility
and balance when I am immersed in the sounds, smells and sights of a beach
setting. These photographs are from New Zealand, Cook Island, Sanibel and Naples
Florida. It was difficult to limit the gallery to 18 photos, since they are
my children and I had a hard time choosing. I will update, add on and change
them in the near future. Click on the slide show bar at the bottom of the page
for quick and easy views of the full Gallery of photographs.

Angels and Buddhas
"Wake at dawn with a winged
heart and give thanks for another day of loving." – Kahil
Gibran
I feel you cannot have enough of them in any dimension you are living in.
The angel on my home page and on my business cards is very special and dear
to my heart. The photograph was taken at my Mothers cemetery in upstate New
York. I have traveled the world and never have I seen such a beautiful sculpture.
It was created in Germany and now I am blessed to have it watch over my loved
one. Every time I view it I feel my mom is watching over me and adding her
creative spark to my creative venues. The Buddhas symbolize strength of spirituality
and in honor of my spiritual teachers Jackie and Zarathustra, I am drawn to
photograph them. They reside in my homes and gardens.

Portraits
"The great man is he who does not lose his child like heart." – Mencius
Capturing ones soul and expression via a portrait is an exciting work of art.
I enjoy going to a persons home habitat or finding an activity that shows their
heart flame in their eyes and photographing them at that moment. Children are
my favorite, as their soul shines outward for the camera. I've photographed
in and out of the studio and my favorites are when a person is unaware I am
even there. That offers me to see them through the lens as unique individuals
in their play of life. It is a great ahah moment that the click of the camera
captures on the screen for all to behold!

Architecture / Travelscapes
"The present moment is creative – creating with an un heard – of
intensity."– Le Corbusier
I've been drawn to nature as architecture itself since I was a child. Going
to school for design in my adult years was a bi product of loving the outdoors
and making an interior as beautiful inside as it's outer surroundings. The
photographs are from my travels in the United States. New Zealand, Italy, Germany.
Austria, England and Cook Island. To be able to look back at a moment in time
via a photograph that widened your horizons on life and was precious to you
is what it is all about to me. The New Zealand photographs were not altered,
the beauty of that country is not to be underestimated. The skies fall into
their waters and the beauty of the colors transcend upward at the same time.
I am glad I could share my travels with you!

Children's Illustration Shots
"Children have more need of models than of critics." -
Carolyn Coats.
Many of these photos were used with the scripts I wrote while teaching
as a health educator.
My guinea pig, “Petunia”, has been the center of attention and dressed
up to fit whatever role she was needed in at the moment . My friends children
have dressed the part for my fairy and dragon scripts . I am often inspired by
a child’s object, the first children’s book I wrote,“Angel
Bunny”, was begun after picking up a tiny snow globe that
had a bunny holding a paint brush in it. My friends put up with my rambles in
the car on the way home while my imagination
took off into a far away place in no timesville and thus the script was created..
The frog reading a book inspired me to write about an intelligent frog educating
gardenville’s people where water sprites and bullfrogs occupied the land.
The educated frog was reading about nature and it’s healthy impact it has
among those that occupy the gardens and the fairies and other forest creatures
among them. Let your imaginations soar as you look at the galleries.

Artsy / Artwork
"When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece." -
John Ruskin.
The
first gallery is fun photos of things that make me smile. The artwork is abstract,
and I have photographed my sketches, not the finished pieces in order to protect
the original work. Those are made as metal sculptures, with astronomical photographs
behind them, and also as ink drawings with gold leaf. If you are interested in
buying any finished pieces, contact me for a portfolio of completed work. I also
accept special orders. I have been creating these unique pieces for the past
twenty years. The work is a direct link to my spiritual path, it is a creative
diary of my life ( see upcoming classes). The artwork comes to me in the middle
of the night, energies that led me to the beach to draw. Titles for the artwork
came to me, linking me to what I was experiencing at that moment in time. Years
later stories and information regarding what I had drawn, and what the symbols
meant were unveiled to me. In 1995 a Russian scientist visited my studio to experience
the work and said, “This artwork
has sound coming out of it, and in the future people will buy it specifically
to align their own unique energies.” My spiritual teacher confirmed that
I had projected myself into the future with my work and I would know when the
time was right to show it publicly. I also custom create what I call “talisman
empowering oil portraits” that express a clients’ life, while at
the same time, empowers them. I use words and objects that have a sentimental
value or strength for them. I also take their photo and incorporate it onto
the piece. It makes a powerful statement, as unique as the individual for whom
it is created. Enjoy the infusion of energies from my pieces.

Self-Portraits
"One of the biggest factors of success
is the courage to undertake something."
- James A. Worsham
A dear friend of mine is a psychiatrist that once told me to look at my
childhood pictures because they reveal
your true self. She also stated that we don't stray far from those moments
that made us remember our past with a smile. No truer words were spoken,
these photos still scream ME; insightful moments past and present. Hope they
give you a chuckle.
